Internships

As an intern at Stimson, you have a great opportunity for hands-on learning. Our intern program integrates classroom education with practical application in the forest. You’ll be ready to step up to new challenges with confidence and could find yourself in a position for other opportunities within the company.

Internships are available in:

  • Coeur d’Alene, ID
  • Gaston/Forest Grove, OR

We typically hire interns during the months of May through August or June through September in our Regeneration departments. You get to experience what it’s like to work in the field and with hands-on activities including stand surveys in a variety of reforestation age classes and other general forestry work. Daily job sites will vary. A company vehicle will be provided.
