JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIANS / AUTOMATION CONTROLS TECHNICIANS

Immediate openings for self-starting, motivated, and dedicated Automation Controls Technicians for the
Sawmill and Hardboard plants in Forest Grove, Oregon. Applicants must have a minimum of an
Oregon Plant Journeyman License. Day to day requirements include electrical maintenance, equipment automation, and capital projects. Additional requirements
include strong PLC design; programming and trouble shooting skills (TI or AB); ability to install, program and trouble shoot AC and DC drives; basic understanding of Oregon electrical code; ability to read
electrical prints and drawings; and understanding of machine controls and instrumentation including servo technology. Must have strong people skills and the ability to work with a team to improve quality and
production. Continuous training is required to further enhance the knowledge base of our technicians with wage advancement based on knowledge and abilities.
